I'm gonna say it as much, digital, pastel, guache, photography, AI whatever the fuck it is, those are all tools and what makes them good or bad is the usage. To be more specific to which group the tool is being used in favor of. If it's being used for artirts then you have in infinite repertoire of references, you can cut a lot of work and still make your work look amazing like they did with some effects in the Spiderverse Movies and you also have the different eccentricities of AI Art that can open some different avenues of expression. The problem here is that it is not the artists in most cases who AI art is working in favour of. We're already having massive multimedia companies cutting the human cost using AI people loosing thier jobs and working harsher and harsher conditions. And that's not even considering the AI companies who pirate Millions of works with no compensation to the creators just so they can sell you thier service in the most unconsiderate act of thievery i have ever seen. This is not in favor of helping artists or progressing technology this is just greed and theft and should be judged as so by a court of law.
