The problem with all of the examples you gave is that they’re coming from a perspective that is not representative of humanity.
In particular, the analogy you gave for creativity is tired and reductive; there is more to creativity than stitching together influences samples from a single domain. A sculptor’s work is not merely the result of blending together sculpture references.
And we don’t have to limit ourselves to the arts. Advancements in mathematics, like Cantor’s diagonal proof, or Godel’s incompleteness theorem, are examples where creativity is clearly much more than rigidly combining previous ideas.
AI is great, sure, but let’s be sober when we compare these algorithms to humans.
