Why did they try this in the wild? Don't a lot of legal firms still hold mock court to figure out if stuff like this could even work? There's no way two professional lawyers would press a LLM into doing their job and then be happy with the results it spews back. I can't believe two practicing lawyers looked at that and said, "No, this is fine." I mean, I've used Chat GPT as an amateur writer of fiction and I have not been happy with what it will reproduce when prompted. There's no way it could hold up to something with much more demand for structure and rigor.
