The bachelors degree and the universities itself have become a joke. Even when I graduated (before Chatgpt was launched), I could say less than 10% of my class would be able to answer basic questions of our field. It felt more like 4 year vacation for elite kids than getting education. Most of the time was spent in frat parties, 100s of clubs that everyone was a part of or the fancy walls in the gym that everyone loved to climb. Honestly, even at that time, I sometimes wondered how was this system even working. Nevertheless, the reality has hit now. If you are in hs and don't have parents who can write off hundreds of thousands of dollars for a 4 year vacation called bachelor's degree, my advice would be to go to trade school and actually learn something that the real world cares about.
