There are so many discussions to be had about whether or not AI art can count as art, but all of those discussions become meaningless when you consider: Most AI has been trained on the art that other people made. Not only does that mean that AI can't, in any significant way, think up anything new, it also means that a whole bunch of artists have had their income stolen away from them by a machine that has studied and copied everything they have made. It's unethical, I don't care if it's art or not.
