As someone who has said "well maybe humanity should go" its never come from a place of well screw us. It's always been more of a "well we created it and we didnt have stop gaps to prevent our own demise, that's on us" AI is going to be in essence a product of the human species. If it decides we gotta go that's on us. We're experts at killing each other why be shocked when our electronic child comes to a bad conclusion on our existence. Bad conclusion from our point of view. No idea how Jr feels or if it does. We just pushed forward.
