The only time I would support ai "art" is when it's used for mockups of stuff like "what would this room look like with pink walls and blue cabinets" using a photo as a base or "image of woman in sundress with hands behind her back gazing at the sunset, emphasis on light and colors" to use as a lighting/color reference and it spits out a super simple image, possibly with super simple colors or shadows emphasized. Something that would take time, but is only used for personal stuff. AI "art" right now is used blended and regurgitated shit.
Oh, or with permission and for only personal use: Recreating images/video of celebrities/famous individuals in movies/songs/whatever they were never in. Example: Robin Williams as the live action Genie in Aladdin or Phil Hartman as the voice of Zapp Brannigan (who the role was written for). Things we could never get and would not hurt anyone, but would be for fun, not profit.
