The software creating AI is created by humans. To even think AI will "replace" humans is naive considering the complexity of the human brain, thought process and experiences gained in life influenced by life during the time. AI is a digital robot, no more - no less - and as a robot it performs in accordance with the software contained in it and written by humans. i.e. AI in itself is not a threat - humans can be. AI or not to AI - as Shakespeare would have put it.
"moral" - Who's moral values will rule? Putin? Trump? Kim Jong Un's? Yours? Mine? Stupid discussion - read Isaac Asimov's “Runaround”. Never, ever create atrifical, AI or not, moral as "rules" for robotics. Moral is subjective meaning acceptance of actions or rejections of the same is controlled by the moral code created - who controls the moral code? (see above).
Absolutely and most probably already in use (AI is availabale as open source software) there are individuals trying to benefit, illegally of course, from it but this is nothing new; The sleight of hand in the 15'th century or rather the one skilled enough was equally guilty of the same crime - the tools differ.
