It is extraordinarily poor journalism to not make the critical point that Tesla’s Autopilot system is completely different than their Supervised Full self driving system. Autopilot is the extremely basic glorified cruise control system that isn’t even capable of stopping at stop signs or navigating turrns at intersections. So going through a horrific story on someone crashing on Autopilot by running a stop sign is quite frankly utterly irrelevant. All journalism and stories surrounding Teslas Supervised Full Self driving should be documented verified events with vehicles engaged in the supervised full self driving.
