Raw LLM Responses

I'll start by saying that I'm not an artist. I work as a programmer, a field many people believe will also be heavily affected by AI. I already use AI as a tool on a daily basis, but not for image generation. I also do some game development on the side, and that's where I'm considering using AI for certain tasks. For example, if I have a set of textures or models that I've purchased from an artist but want to make slight modifications to them, I see absolutely nothing wrong with using AI for that. I could hire an artist, but that's not an option for me right now. My alternatives are making changes in Photoshop or Blender, which I can do in some cases, but since AI can make the process both better and faster, I'll probably go down that route. In this situation, I've purchased something I'm 90% happy with, but I want to experiment with some changes without hiring an artist, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I would never generate AI art to sell as a standalone piece, but using AI to create assets that support other work, where it's not the main component, seems perfectly fine to me. I would never claim to be the creator of the art, perhaps more of an art director. Not using AI in some cases would just prevent me from making what I want. This is not only true for images. You can apply this to sound effects and in some cases music as well. Nothing comes close to a real artist though, and I see no reason not to improve my artistic skills as well as my audio editing and coding skills.
