The internet has been set up like this for years now. You label your images, you put alt text on websites. On stock image platforms you label your images too. You upload it to Facebook, google, Microsoft and amazon servers. You host it, you use spyware tech to create them (I'm a dev so I can only speak from that aspect). VScode the most used code editor is a keylogger pretty much. Github is used to train ai, stackoverflow and many more. We have been making it easier for ai to be trained on our work by following best practices. And every time you clicked on the images containing buses while doing captcha you were training an ai for free. There is nothing you can do really, the internet is set up like this for a reason and you will probably never win a legal case. They will do the same on a large scale with music and video too. Youtubers are the next, when the tech gets there. It's best to get ahead of the curve and think about exploiting ai, being salty that you got robbed is understandable, but you are sabotaging yourself, big tech will win the legal cases. In the slight chance that you achieve something, the training is already done, this should have been the topic 10 years ago in preparation. The genie is out of the bottle.
