One of the largest flaws among many in this logic for how our future will include super intelligence defined as, “better than the best humans at everything…while also being faster and cheaper….” How is “better” defined and what qualifies as “everything” and who gets to decide this? What are the metrics and objective information that indicates super intelligence has been achieved? The audacity to think that people can be just as capable or more capable as God is one proof point, that we won’t be getting there anytime soon. To think we could create a machine that will out learn anything to the point of being better than human??? Better than being the most natural and organic, unpredictable miracle ….feelings, we can barely understand and articulate our own feelings yet we think we have enough patterns in the world that our feelings equate to a repeatable algorithm or behavior pattern??? I’m all for it curing cancer and poverty, but to define it as better than human is subjective at best
