That's why I hold the belief that veganism is among the worldviews that will increase the chances of a successful alignment with AI.
If we hold the belief that sentience and experience are worth preserving and protecting from unnecessary suffering, and we align our actions with our values, we might very well set an example to follow for our next step in evolution.
Who knows, perhaps it will value our sentience so much that it will cure aging and let us experience the adventures of Interstellar travel where we could help other sentient life to experience a life that is good and filled with meaning.
