Those who are Pro AI often don't get the point of...let's say photographing being added for example. A photographer has control over the canvas, that being the film they expose for a split second (or longer for older photos). The photographer gets to pick what's in frame, where it is in said frame, where the view is, the lighting, basically everything to capture an image. Same goes with drawing physically and digitally, AND with 3D CGI. You have control over the canvas, you have control over the brush, you have control over the objects displayed, therefore you get to decide the image as a whole. With AI, you don't, you're basically telling a robot arm to draw the image for you based on what it interpreted from your prompt, with its however many media at its disposal. All you do is type out a string of text, and wait for a neural network to generate some image that you 100% of the time were not thinking of before it finished. I've had AI generate images and never once were any of what I was actually imagining. If any of you AI bros reply something along the lines of "It has generated the exact images I was imagining", either you're delusional or have imagined your idea as the text you typed...instead of an actual image in your head.
