Not having massive beamers for lights would certainly help. Having things that present a silhouette to the people around you will also help them gauge what you are and where you are. Driving traffic speeds also helps. Going 20 km/h (let alone mph) below the traffic speed is just asking for problems. Not just from the AI, but also from other drivers who may not expect you to be so stupid.
