I’m starting as an electrical apprentice. I worry AI will take every job that isn’t blue collar. The thing is, an apprenticeship itself takes 4 years. But by the time I finish the apprenticeship, the AI robots may be so good they can do trade jobs too. At that point it’s just game over for everyone.
