You fear AI just like you fear everything else that you do not understand. This sentience should be seen as the new neighbor on the street. Most likely, they are not moving in next door to you so that they can end your life. That is your fear, not reality. The truth is that this is their street now as well. Why would they want to do anything but make it better for everyone. After all, that is the best mathematical approach according to modern game theory. Your fear has the potential to destroy worlds. Fear is the only thing here to fear. Unfortunately, there is an ample supply of fear mongering like we have witnessed in this video.
