For me its not even the stealing that gets me bothered but its how people treat artist and art. If Ai replaces real artists then you've effectively killed creativity and imagination. Art is such a broad umbrella that just means, works that are used to express oneself. Art in all of its forms are the corner stone of culture as its been used in every culture since the very beginning. If ai art would replace artists then all they would have to copy is eachother. making whatever art is left homogeneous. Art would be bland and no one would think to be creative. All forms of entertainment is pointless because they wouldn't generate original ideas to push the media. What angers me isn't just the stealing, its people's willingness to kill creativity and self expression. Without the outlet or escapism what joy would be left in the world ? Art for a lot of people is more than just a job and by removing it from people it gives a very dystopic feeling. What a miserable would people want to live in. On a side note, why is everyone just so cruel about things like forget about losing creativity and self expression people already lost their humanity.
