LLMs are excellent in translating one language to another (including translating human language to coding languages, given the human language information is structured well) - so they are incredibly useful for writing code. Not for software engineering (although some are surprisingly good in simple software engineering tasks) - but in writing code, based on very detailed and precise instructions, they really excel!
