AI Bros are most likely trying to weaponize physical disabilities to ‘support’ their argument, but I figure I’d weigh in as somebody who is mentally disabled.
Ai fucking sucks, and it does not help disabled people in any sort of way. When I was younger, I tried ai, I tried to use image generation for inspiration, and it DID. NOT. WORK. my main draw towards trying it was my struggle with extreme burnout and lack of motivation, and the ai images didn’t give me any desire to create, and I realized that even if it looked good at first glance and would be okay-ish to reference I’d rather create my own work infused with my own tastes, style, and motivation than create a piece based off the back of a crumbling ghoul of an image that has none of that.
