Dear Senator Sanders,
This is a very noble concern indeed. However, I would argue a premature and partially unfounded one.
We are still a couple of real breakthroughs away from humanlike artificial intelligence.
Amodei, Musk, etc. need to sell their products and have thus perfected their marketing strategies - the truth is, however, that their models are just incapable of operating successfully in non-tightly controlled / monitored environments.
It is just a matter of time until companies that replace all of their human workforce with robots will inevitably eventually backtrack to a certain degree.
It is of course wise to remain vigilant as AI does impact the workforce and will continue to do so in the future - just not quite how all these CEOs want to make us believe.
