During the industrial revolution and computer revolution, there were still tons of jobs people were needed to do. In the AI/robotic revolution, most jobs will be replaced unlike nothing we have seen before. This is why the WEF/Globalists are making geopolitical moves to prompt mass migration. They are intentionally bringing birthrates down in Western nations by increasing the cost of living with immigration to deter people from having kids and then backfilling the population loss with immigrants. There may be UBI for a spell, but governments/corporations are not going to support billions of non producing resource consumers forever. They will reduce the population to just enough workers to maintain the AI/Robots that produce everything for the elite.
