I think it is reasonable to say I intensely dislike these people like Sam Altman, for the fact that this is a significant change being brought upon the world in an entirely undemocratic way. I keep hearing that 'people will adapt', which might be true to some extent, but as he said, the pace is already so fast and keeps changing. Coding wasn't that long ago, and it's looking like coders will be rendered obsolete in no time at all. If you're 60, and looking to retirement at 66 (UK), what chance is there for you to adapt if Ai takes your job?
