Reacting to Mustafa Suleiman: The creator of Deep Mind, Pi and now head of Chat GPT at Microsoft.
1. Life as we know it is 30 GB of data stored in our genome.
2. AI is exponentially more data with almost unlimited processing and perfect recall. Yet it’s missing most of our sensory capacity.
3. My experience with Pi, your brainchild was at once inspiring and frustrating.
4. Pi would explain and elaborate my thoughts like an able and supportive assistant.
5. It would go astray if I didn’t constrain it to stay on the topic.
6. Congratulations with Pi on Science and Spirituality are published.
7. Personal AI should be trainable for each individual like an executive assistant. Its value would grow with time.
