Maybe if the car made more NOISE the kid would have herd it ? just a thought as ever since I was a kid I was told Stop, Look Listen ! then look again then walk. Well you got a short kid, no sound could not hear from the Waymo ! why because its a EV and they are silent. I am a road cycleist and absoultely HATE EV's because they are so Quiet so I admit I am biased and don't want to get hit. I can hear cars coming up behing me by the sound of the car and exhaust ! Silent EV's are the worst ! So I am not sure it is all the kids FAULT ! Prove me wrong.
