UBI is a belch from Hell. Socialism—“Democratic” or otherwise—lead to Communism and BOTH have been proven failures for hundreds of years. (Learn the lesson of the Pilgrims at Plymouth Plantation for one). Capitalism is flawed, but it is as flawed as human nature! Capitalism has lead to the greatest economy and way of life in human history. And let’s be honest on the REAL cause of wealth inequality: Cheap money, AKA artificially low interest rates / ZIRP / currency creation by the Federal Reserve, promulgated by BOTH SIDES OF THE POLITICAL AISLE! Free market Capitalism isn’t to blame. It has been eroded by ever-increasing federal government and socialist policies. “Crony capitalism” is horrible and absolutely needs to end, but what made this country great is free markets and SMALL government. I fear AI is going to help encourage a new generation to learn the hard lessons of Socialism and even Communism all over again.
