AI is only immitating what we have fed it. It does not have the consciousness as humans have. Human consciousness is rooted in our organic bodies and metaphysics but the machiens are not organic and never will be. That is one thing these scientists cannot explain and do not want to talk about. Hinton also just brushed away that thought pretty quickly cause they dont have the basics of modeling the consciousness using the current physics. Perhaps the quantum mechanics will be able to address that in some decades.
