I tried using an AI image for reference material before, but it was no help. Even though it looked good, it was mushy, and I couldn't get details from it.
That being said, that image did help me explore my idea and figure out what features I wanted for my piece. I think AI can be a helpful tool in the *process* of creating art if it is ethically trained. I even like the uncanny effect older AI has. But the way it is now, it's a mess to say the least.
