It's sad hearing the materialist express regrets about not spending enough time with his wife and children and not offering a reason why beyond "she's gone now". He has so many thoughts about AI and no thoughts to share about human relationships. Seems related to the dismissiveness of the idea that consciousness could be disassociated from neurological activity.
