This asshat is so out of touch with reality for millions of people who live with constant fear of not having enough money for BASIC needs: food, shelter, healthcare etc.
He is worried that people would not be able to find dignity without a job. He forgets that millions of people work because they HAVE to, not because they want to. They don’t get to work in what they’re actually passionate about because they have to pay bills.
There is NO DIGNITY in being poor. UBI will be the first time that millions of people will be able to exhale.
We need a UBI. There’s no good reason that anyone should be starving or living on the streets in the wealthiest nation in the world.
