Here's the thing, there are actually a few talented artists (and animators) who will STILL USE AI to generate their backgrounds. Take Someone_fishy, for instance. Beautiful style, talented animation, and amazing characters. She generates most, if not all, her backgrounds with AI, though, and she's actually very open about it. If you take a look at her video where she does the Egypt trend with her character Ginger, the can see the background is Chinese-looking (no offense!) instead of, well, Egyptian. She explains in the comments this is because she asked the AI generator to generate an Egyptian background, but instead it generated a Chinese background. Again, she's an incredible artist/animator, but I wish she would make her own backgrounds!
