If the melody that is created around my lyrics cannot be copyrighted, just the lyrics, then who owns the melody? That melody should belong to that lyrics it’s created for. Just like that face with the flowers. The lyrics are the pencil lines and the melody how AI filled in. Please can you help me understand if copyright still does not apply to the melody and lyrics it goes with? This is for the case of I write the lyrics but get AI to generate the whole song.
