Suggesting robots will never achieve human dexterity is a laughable bet, as AI-designed actuators and massive simulation training will inevitably create machines with superhuman physical capabilities. 3. The "human touch" defense is an illusion; AI-driven digital avatars will soon provide indistinguishable, hyper-competent caregiving, therapy, and companionship. Not to mention humanoid robots with Hollywood-level costume design and prosthetics. 4. AI productivity will eventually make up close to 100% of the economy. The price, volume, and speed of artificial cognitive labor will make any human in the work chain a massive bottleneck. This will render everyday human labor valueless (actually negative value) and turn human-provided services into a niche, friction-full luxury exclusively for the ultra-wealthy. 5. Massive displacement is inevitable and unstoppable, driven by overwhelming capitalist incentives (like hyper-cheap robotaxis) and the existential pressure of the US-China geopolitical arms race. 6. The argument "we'll find new jobs" assumes humans maintain comparitive advantage. What is our advantage? Capabilities are not slowing.. Look at METR eval showing task length doubling every 5-7 months and accelerating. AI already outperforms on empathy (Google AIME), it already outperforms on knowledge work (GDPval). Every benchmark is saturating faster than the last.
