It's really baffling how many people are going against AI as it's not human so it can't really help you and it will regurgitate your deepest darkest secrets to others 😂 Newsflash: friends, acquaintances, family, therapists, etc can also regurgitate your information and write a book about it. Difference is they are in your close proximity and you will be far more easily identifiable. There's actual doctors making fun of people's xrays on the Internet and writing books about it. WRITING BOOKS ABOUT IT AND GIVING THE XRAY AS AN EXAMPLE. MALPRAXIS EXISTS. ARE YOU LOT NOT AWARE OF IT? How do you think those patients feel? There's been cases of professionals breaching confidentiality with minimal punishments. There's been examples of therapists that make matters worse and that refuse to treat people if they feel they can't be bothered. That's unethical, that's probably way worse than what you get out of AI. A therapist will most likely 90% of the time engage in CBT. You get the same exact thing from AI for free. Until and unless you tell it that you murdered someone, your deepest darkest secrets are probably the same as millions of other people's secrets. And frankly, no one can use the fact that your landlord is a piece of s**t against you. Freedom of speech means anyone can say whatever they want as long as they don't severly infringe on others rights. So no one can actually use it against you! There's people out there influencing young minds to commit atrocities against women, or other races, streaming live with no consequences and the problem is that AI is not empathetic enough and might spew some of your sentences to other people? Or that its not a real human so your therapy and progress isnt valid? Grow up! Most therapists don't live the same scenarios as you does that mean they aren't good? They just read off the same script quoting one book or one example they have. You are all thinking of therapists as Gods who are amazing and can do no wrong. Stop judging people for using different ways of coping with their problems! To those using AI as therapy, go for it! Use technology at your advantage and if you feel it's not enough then use other means as well. It's a free world and you can do whatever you want without everyone else's consent.
