AI is incredible and has the ability to change the world for the better.... but as a tool available to literally anyone with an internet connection, it's simply replacing the function of the human mind. Everything from the muscles in the body to your motor vehicle need to be used otherwise they stop functioning, when we exercise a muscle that hasn't be used for a long time it aches, because its been dormant and useless until you woke it up, the car will seize up if the engine isn't started regularly... if you don't use the brain to think, ponder, wonder, contemplate and imagine, then it starts shutting down the neurological pathways its seemingly not using anymore. People already believe that if you ask AI a question, then you remember the answer, you now have an understanding, but it's just remembering. There is no easy or nice way of saying this, but the world's population has never been so dumb, stupid, idiotic, no self-awareness and has no idea what is happening around them until they see it on a screen.... people even go to festivals and concerts these days and view it on a screen while recording it... People use emojis instead of emotional reactions, laughing has been replaced by no laughter and 3 letters (LOL), people say they are super excited all the time without ever expressing excitement, and tell people something is hilarious without raising a smile. I've watched this horror unfold over the last 25 years, and the acceleration of this devolution of the species finds a new higher gear everyday, just when i think it cant possibly get any more ridiculous, but ive been saying the same thing everyday for the past decade, and somehow something occurs each day that is incrementally more dumb. I even assumed at one point this had to be some kind of worldwide practical joke, and the new Jeremy Beadle would jump out and say GOT YA, because I tried to dream up something how ever crazy, to logically justify what I was witnessing... and I couldn't even make something up.... It's so utterly bizarre, I can't literally can't comprehend the speed at which a huge amount of the population of the world is mentally disturbed and seems to be in an unconscious race to dissolve their own brains, a survey recently asked university students in America what continent they are currently standing on, and 90% had no idea, and 70% of those didn't know what a continent is or even name any of them... and these people are the future. But the most horrific effect from all this is that nothing has 'Meaning' anymore, people can't even define the meaning of meaning... when your words and actions are expressed without meaning, then every action has no purpose. Unfortunately, many people can't even comprehend the horrific consequences to human life this will cause, and you can see it in the vague blank look in their eyes, as if something has been switched off.
