ceo who think flat is the new up have to ask the sensible question of whether they are jumping on a bandwagon or whether they might not truly reassess whether human+AI is better than AI. Also.. assess the risks of having a large pool of unemployed people experienced in their industry who can also fire up their AI's or have no choice but to.. and then become their competition. After all.. they'd have no choice. And if the ceo is thinking "I dont need employees under my roof".. that means their former employees can also do the same... with the same AI. Having a range of human expertise under one roof is an employers leverage.. not their hindrance. Its a bar to entry.. into their market. This is important. Not everything is profit maximalisation.. take away the bar.. more than likely their market share will shrink unless they somehow maintain a monopoly of the expertise.. which is very hard to do in most cases in the AI world.
