3D artists here worked on anime collectibles for licenses like Square Enix, collaborated with Yoshitaka Amano and Itahana-san (FF IX character designer), and Calicg in ArtStation. So I tried MJ and GPT to add them to my workflow for months to see if they were really going to replace us and completely ditched them because of how useless they are. This is the main reason why AI is not usable: it is REALLY hard to iterate. If you are an artist and know how to draw, you are constantly making decisions to tailor the art you want to do. Let's say the hand is too high and not dynamic enough; you can fix it. The eyes are looking the wrong way again; fix it. You can tweak the light, etc., everything to make the art you want to make or the client needs. With AI you currently can't do that; you get stuck with an image where you have 0 to no control over it, especially if you are not an artist. People are sooner or later going to realize this big flaw and get stuck with a bunch of generic images that are more or less the same. GPT already has that weird brownish palette and noise to all the images. You want to prove that an artist is better than an AI artist? Check how much an Ai artist can they address feedback accurately
