I agree that AI companies shouldn't enjoy zero regulation just because China bad but I really hope we can agree that China is indeed bad and saying so isn't "Sinophobia". China is one of the most repressive nations in the World.
A slightly less repressive nation with far fewer resources, Russia, is already seriously affecting US policy with misinformation bots.
