The real problem with the stealing of art is divided in 2, copyright infringement since the artists never agreed for their art to be used and that people are using that phrase "AI is being trained" AI cannot be trained because they arre not people, they are simply programed to look for sections of images that look similar to what you ask it to make, think of it like someone using pictures of paintings to make a collage, it's not really painting anything in and of itself
