I think there's nothing wrong if you, as an artist, use AI in the right way. I use MY OWN AI generated imagery as a reference image for my artwork (non digital)
It's absolutely wrong to use AI generated imagery as your own digital artwork, though (as well as other artist's work, including other people's AI generated imagery). There's a distinct lineone should never cross.
