Legally the creator is the machine, that’s why you can’t copyright it.
Legally writing a prompt for an ai is no different from instructing an animal to make art, even if you trained a monkey to paint, the produced works wouldn’t be copyrightable because only humans can produce copyrightable materials and you wouldn’t be the artist, the monkey would. The fact that you made the prompt that caused the art to be produced is literally meaningless, you aren’t the creator of the end product, only of the instructions that caused it to be made.
