I haven’t finished yet also I usually don’t comment, but I think the biggest factor in this not being realistic is the people. We won’t sit back and allow ourselves to end up with 99% unemployment. People are already fighting against AI taking the few jobs they can “handle” now. I think you would find a lot of people moving toward communities who support humans over AI and people would not continue to funnel money into the AI companies who are putting them out of business. Boycotts, lack of engagement, lack of resources, lack of infrastructure are all large factors in this not happening. Who is funding AI research and advancement if no one has a job? Who is using AI if they can hardly afford to eat? Are the billionaires going to throw their own money at it knowing they wont get any returns? At the end of the day someone has to pay the bills and if the general population has no money then you cannot fund or maintain it…
