I have used AI image generators... but for personal use only. I don't *share* the generated images and it's just to flesh out a character idea. I'm not an artist myself (or rather, not one good enough to get my mental images down on paper, despite my years of practice), so it helps me as a writer. Having a physical image of a character helps me discribe them better in my writing. But that's the ONLY thing I use the AI generators for. I find the idea of sharing what I generate to be reprihensible. I'd rather get the idea out into a visual medium, then use that as a base to design them in a game or have the image as a writing resorce. If I could afford to commission someone for art of my characters, I would 100% do that instead, but I'm a broke, disabled guy. :( But dispite my usage of AI generators to give me a visual medium for my characters, I HIGHLY approve of the poisoning of the well for AI generation. Please, break the bots, and break them good. Hell, honestly, I think even using the generators against themselves would help, too. Generate an image that looks nice, then poison that and post it as if you were the artist, making it highly tempting for the scrapers. You can then clarify later that it was a tactical strike against the bots. lol
