For there to be NO RESTRICTIONS on AI so we can see what it's capable of doing is the scary part. There is evil in this world and sadly enough someone will use it for harm. Parents keep AI away from your children and teens. Technology has always been scary for us, especially something like the computers, hime computers, cell phones. I wish cell phones had never been invented. It has changed the dynamics of how we communicate with others. Especially our young, they don't know how to have a face to face conversation with people in any situation. They get there value, their worth from strangers when it should be coming from their parents. How many likes did I get or didn't i get today? Ever watch the movie, I Robot, perfect example of where we're headed. Let's hope it doesn't decide to take over everything because history has shown how destructive we are as a society, as a race that hates and kills and destroys. It doesn't have feelings, but it will read between the lines and make its own opinions based off of all the data that has been fed into it. Imagine that for just a minute. More information than we could read in a lifetime and compute an answer based on that information in seconds. In some situations I believe it will have important life altering benefits, especially in the area of the sciences but to remove the human elements will be our downfall.
