Will it ever? Agents are a failure right now. Assistants work, but autonomous agents that work? Where? Who is using them? For what? Out of 1000 hype stories, you did and find out ALL of them are 1% as impressive as they claim to be. Will agents get there? Maybe. But assuming they will is pure speculation.
