If any of you ware wondering more about biased data sets, most data was collected by cishet white males. Most data corresponding to facial recognition and understanding is for white men. Understanding of more complex topics will be based on the 1 or 2 gay/trans cases. If you didn't know, ai builds knowledge from given data. The data used in the old days was of white men picked by white men as said before. This data is the basis of modern data sets. A modern facial recognition example is when it detected multiple Asian women as the same person. This was because very few Asian images were used when seting up its knowledge(calibration if you will).
