you know I hate when people call others "NPCs" because that is wastly dehumanizing - but the kind of vibe that stands behind this kind of fits?
Those people don't really think for themselves and so they convince themselves that what the AI is doing is actually them doing something?
Because they lack the skill of introspection SO HARD, that this actually works?
What a weird and sad mindset to have really.
I kind of see AI as some form of bullshit filter to judge other people. Those who actually think that AI is more than just a tool (and a very weird and problematic one at that) and trust this without second thought, you know you cannot actually trust to think for themselves and not just parot everything they hear from other people.
