I have no problem with AI art in and of itself. It takes an actual artist anyway to make "proper" use of it beyond the simple single picture works. What I do have a problem with it's use of other artists works without their permission. I really wish it's training database had been limited to what's in public domain and what's voluntarily given it. Seems so wrong when people can be sued for doing much the same. I wish I could get a copy of it that goes only through public domain works and stuff I specifically feed it so I could train it to do works in my style I can use and save me time. I think you can now but I have to look into that. Then there's the problem of the AI art filling picture libraries with more of the same stuff. It's rarer now to find new art with imaginative new styles and ideas and more common to see AI art that's essentially a rehashing of stuff everyone has done before. If you're looking around at such stuff, you'll know what I mean. Then there's those sending these works to contests with the same category as art made manually, but I think that has more to do with the contest organizers who should know better by now.
