Lol at people with no technical skills, no engineering understanding, never built a neural network, never built an LLM, never even slapped together a Markov chain. You'll continue calling sentience on AI every 5 minutes like this idiot (not an engineer, fired from Google), and those like him without any real knowledge on the subject, will call "sentience!" over and over again forever. The real funny part is how easily humans are willing to anthropomorphize even the slightest things -- clouds, rock formations, you name it....
The statistically most-likely output of any machine learning trained on data that was written by humans (having self awareness), will appear self aware, you absolute dummies.
Keep spreading fear and doubt though, oh propagators of ignorance, because it just gives us engineers more to laugh at.
And please keep fad-buying our implantations of 40yo machine learning tech. The fact that AI tools are so useful and amazing to all of you really only speaks to how useless of a human you were in the first place.
