i am a disabled artist, i have chronic pain everywhere in my body & creating for hours does cause me discomfort, but ive noticed most disabled people in general tend to have a lot of endurance regardless of this. disabilities dont stop people & frankly never will, for the lot of us that dont have the luxury to get out much, our art & hobbies are what keep us whole & help us mentally. my own grandmother has had issues in her arms that has needed multiple surgeries, but she still sits down at an easel. ai is soulless, & grants us absolutely no fulfillment. yes, our bodies do make things harder for us, but the people making the assumption that we aren't capable & that we need everything done for us are part of the infantilization problem.
